 Arno

Arno

Design Matteo Nunziati, 2022

Leather is the protagonist of the lamp Arno, an undoubtedly unusual material for this type of product. The shade has been created using an ancient tanning process and it contrasts beautifully with the clear simple and linear metal frame. For both the standard and table versions, the lamp Arno is elegant and undeniably contemporary, expressing all the intrinsic value of the article in the details and the skills applied in the manufacture. The structure is made of iron painted with matt burnished epoxy powder and the the shade is woven leather. The inner shade liner is sanded Pyrex glass.

In a cozy corner defined by the wooden staircase, the Arno lamp takes center stage: featuring a slender frame in matte burnished T013, it stands out for its shade covered in woven leather, which filters the light to create a refined interplay of light and shadow. The warm glow spreads throughout the room with an enveloping effect, casting decorative shadows on the wall and highlighting the surrounding architecture. The verticality of the base underscores the elegance of the design, making the lamp a sculptural element as well as a functional one. Next to it, the Pierre pouf upholstered in Calvin 928 gold fabric adds a soft, textured touch, complemented by a magazine resting on top. The ensemble creates an intimate and sophisticated atmosphere, striking a balance between design and comfort.

An object that unites material and light in an elegant and contemporary balance.
In an architectural passageway with warm, textured tones, the Arno lamp becomes a luminous beacon that guides the eye: characterized by a slender structure in matte burnished T013, it stands out for its woven leather shade, which filters the light to create a refined graphic effect. The warm light diffuses through the weave, casting soft shadows on the walls and amplifying the depth of the space. Placed next to the doorway, it elegantly accompanies the passage, transforming a functional element into a decorative focal point. A perfect balance between craftsmanship and contemporary design.
In a sophisticated setting characterized by contrasting textures, the Arno lamp stands out as the focal point of the composition: featuring a slender frame in matte burnished T013, it is enhanced by a woven leather shade that filters the light, creating a refined interplay of light and shadow. The warm glow spreads across the wall and the tabletop, highlighting the surfaces and creating visual depth. Placed on the Gentleman sideboard with an Ebony N089 frame, a Silk Georgette N068 marble top, and 0178 leather doors, it underscores its elegance through a dialogue between materials and finishes.
